Learn about The Co-operative Pharmacy over the summer

Do you want to get a head start in Pharmacy? Do you want the opportunity to gain an insight into our business before deciding whether to apply for a Pre-registration Place? If so, a place on our Summer Vacation Programme would be the ideal experience for you.

As a second or third year student you have the chance to work in one of our pharmacies, get interactive training, and learn more about our business.

Competition for places on our Pre-registration Programme is extremely high so this is a great way to impress us from the beginning and maximise your chance of obtaining a Pre-registration position with us!

Our Summer Vacation Programme includes:

A 4 week placement in one of our stores throughout the UK.
Mentoring in branch by one of our pro-active Pharmacists.
A structured workbook for you to work through during your placement.
The chance to put some of your learning into practice by working with colleagues and customers.
A chance to earn while you learn.

Successful third year applicants will be given an automatic invitation to attend a Co-operative Pharmacy Pre-registration Selection Centre. This will be a chance to meet with other students and hopefully secure a pre-registration offer before anyone else.
