Shared vision and values
The Variety Club, like ourselves, has a strong heritage in helping young people and communities all over the UK. Both organisations share a unique vision, values and the core strength of ‘giving back to those in need’. By helping The Variety Club to raise the funds needed to help improve life for children across the UK we're furthering the ways in which The Co-operative is good for everyone.
“I’d like to say how much I feel for the Variety Club and what they do for children. I’ve been working with and around the Variety Club for 30 years and they keep going to help these little mites. They don’t have the same chances that we have, and this organisation helps to give them those chances. So I’d love to thank them for the work that they do.”
– Sir Michael Caine, Winner of The Variety Club’s Bernard Delfont Award for Outstanding Contribution to Showbusiness 2008
