AGM 2018 motion 9
As Motion 9 is for changes to our Rules, it needs a two thirds majority to go through. If the Rule changes are approved they will only take effect once registered by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Notes on motion 9: The proposed main changes to our Rules relate to:
Dormant members - it is important that members of a co-op trade with it. The proposed changes simplify our processes to remove dormant or gone away members from our register who have not traded with us for the last three years.
INED and MND terms of office – it is proposed to move to maximum terms of office of 9 years for both MNDs and INEDs on what will generally be a three year cycle. If the rule changes are approved, they will apply to the 2018 elections.
The Board and Council recommend supporting this motion.
