I have been a Co-op member for 10 years. As a Member, Colleague, Lion Club member, USDAW Union Rep & Branch Chair, I believe I have the experience and knowledge needed to progress the Co-op to a better tomorrow, by actively encouraging participation in promoting membership and charity fundraising activities. I use Co-op Insurance, Banking,Food & Funeralcare. I plan to serve in the best interest of Co-op members.

As a Colleague I see how Co-op decisions can affect colleagues and customers whether it will be work life balance, store environment and how to engage in the local community.

In a number of small towns and villages all the local banks branches and cashpoints are starting to close this is adding to an increase in cash back.

This is one of the community services I believe we can do is by putting more cashpoints in store. This will encourage customers to the store and keep staff safer as they do not need to keep as much money in the till for cash backs.

I have also worked with colleagues in Bristol shops by filling out survey and raising issues with the co-op to make stores safer for all.
