My background in health care ensures that I am a caring and compassionate individual, always considering others. I have been a family carer, child-minder to my friends, been employed in many sectors of health care including not-for-profit and mental health.

My community is very important to me, I believe in community engagement, everyone having a voice. If I encounter a problem, I do my best to fix it by speaking to local councillors, local police and the council to resolve matters that affect my community.

The Co-op Group's charitable giving helps projects and communities nationwide, this is important to me and I am proud to support such an organisation. I am member of various local committees, and organised our annual street party last year. I am always keen to be involved, bringing my enthusiasm and commitment to all I do.

Trust and integrity are very important to me, I am seen as an honest and trusted individual by friends and employees.

Health and wellbeing is vital, and I believe the food industry plays a key role in this area, The Co-op Group are leading the way, yet there is still work to do.

I am passionate about our environment, and believe in the Co-op Group's commitment, yet plastics need tackling, there is scope to bring further positive change, including the need to adapt to policy changes as they arise.

Having studied leadership and management and marketing, I understand the needs of business. The Co-op Group's ethical business practice inspires me, and I am a life-long customer because of it.
