Join us at Co-op Live

You are welcome to join us in person at Co-op Live (Vertu Place, Co-op Live, Gibbon Street & Alan Turing Way, Manchester M11 3DU) where we will be holding this year's AGM.

Bags and Luggage

Please make note that you will not be able to bring into the venue any bags larger than A4 and these will be checked on arrival. We will not be operating a bag drop this year therefore alternative arrangements for storing any luggage needs to be made by our member-owners before arriving at the venue.

Attendance

Please keep in mind that only eligible member-owners will be admitted into Co-op Live. If you were eligible to vote this year and would like to register, please email agm@coop.co.uk. For our member-owners that are not eligible to vote at this year's AGM, a recording of the AGM will be published on our website shortly after the meeting.

Plan for the Day

8:30am: Doors open for networking and registration

Come and network with other member-owners and speak to our Directors and leaders before the meeting begins.

10:00am: The AGM

Hear a review of the year from our Chair, CEO, CFO and Council President. This is your chance to ask the Board questions and have your say by voting on our motions.

11:45am: Members' Discussion

Join us to share your views on what matters most to you, our member-owners.

1:00pm (approx): Meeting Closes

Voting

If you are joining us in person at Co-op Live you will be able to vote on the day. This year we are doing things differently, and you will be able to vote from your smartphone or tablet.

Please bring a smartphone or tablet that can connect to WIFI and has a working camera to scan a QR code.

As you will be using your own device, we recommend:

  • That you ensure your device has sufficient charge

  • Bringing an alternative device (such as a tablet that has a working camera and can connect to WIFI)

There will not be charging stations available for you to charge your device at the venue.

If you do not own a smartphone or tablet don't worry, one will be provided at the venue and you will still be able to cast your vote.

Attend a local member event

This year, we are holding six local events hosted by our Member Activators, which you are invited to attend as an alternative option to attending in person at Co-op Live or joining online. Here, you will be able to virtually join our AGM from one of six venues and participate in our AGM discussions alongside other member-owners in a location local to you. We will be holding our local events in the following cities:

  • Glasgow

  • Sheffield

  • Cambridge

  • Bridgend South Wales

  • Exeter

  • Brighton (Hove)

Attendance

For everyone who attends, you’ll have an exclusive chance to win a pair of Co-op Live tickets to a gig of your choosing.*
