'The opportunity effect' report, produced by Demos in partnership with Co-op, considers the impact of social mobility upon economic growth and business performance.
As well as reviewing barriers that prevent people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds from fulfilling their potential, the report outlines scope for £19bn increase in GDP growth by creating fairer opportunities for people across the UK.
