Barking Co-op (Faircross Parade) re-opens following major makeover

Faircross Parade Co-op re-launches with a fresh new-look following a seven-week programme of improvements.
The store – which supports 15 local jobs - has been ‘transformed’ with a brand new look and layout which includes an enhanced bakery, Costa Coffee Express and new refrigeration which not only further cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range.
Faircross Parade’s Co-op welcomes members and customers back into their Co-op who will see an extensive range of fresh and healthy products, world foods; food-to-go and meal deals, along with Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.
The online home delivery of groceries are available through Just Eats, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk - orders are picked fresh in the local store, and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.
Payment services are available through PayPoint.
Soft plastic recycling is also available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
