Bedminster Down (Bristol) Co-op relaunches following major makeover

Bishopsworth Road’s Co-op relaunches (Thursday, 13 March), following a nine-week investment in Bedminster Down’s store with a programme of works and improvements to 'transform' the store.
The near 2,000 sq ft store supports 16 local jobs, and includes an enhanced range of fresh produce, a Costa Coffee express providing hot drinks on-the-go, alongside a focus on food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade products, in store bakery and, award winning wines. The store now has extended opening hours, between 6am-11pm daily.
Online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo and Uber Eats, where Bedminster Down’s Co-op is a fulfilment hub for the convenience retailer’s quick-commerce service, with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.
Parcel collection and return services are available in-store through Amazon, and a cash machine provides access to cash in the community.
New refrigeration to reduce energy consumption has been installed, and soft plastic recycling is also available, enabling consumers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
Self-scan tills have also been added to provide further ease, speed and convenience, especially at busier times.
Supporting UK farmers all of Co-op’s fresh meat – including in its ready meals, pies and sandwiches - is 100% British.
Member prices create additional value for Co-op’s member-owners, with lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.
