Bishopston Co-op re-opens its doors to the community following major makeover

Bishopston Co-op re-opens its doors to the community (Tuesday, 5 May) following a four-month investment programme to ‘transform’ the store.
Located in Gloucester Road, Bishopston, the store relaunches and offers a fresh new-look and enhanced shopping experience for the community, opening between 7am-10pm daily, and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
New refrigeration cuts energy consumption and supports Co-op’s carbon reduction goals, while enhancing the range and choice of fresh and chilled products.
In-store bakery and Costa Coffee Express is available, alongside Co-op’s meal deals and food to go; Fairtrade products; ready meals and meal ideas – including its new Mexican-inspired ‘Served’ range - pizzas; fresh meats and dairy; chilled beers and wines, fresh flowers and, everyday essentials.
Convenient parcel collection services are available via Amazon and DPD.
The quick and convenient online home delivery of groceries is offered through Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo, along with Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk – where orders are picked fresh in the local store for delivery in the community.
Payment services are provided via PayPoint, and an ATM provides free access to cash in the community.
There are offers, deals and promotions – including Co-op Irresistible pizza and a tub of Häagen-Dazs ice cream for just £5 for Members - throughout the store.
Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with lower prices on the essential products shoppers buy most.

Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its own fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, sandwiches and ready meals.
Soft plastic recycling is available in store - making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials that are often not universally accepted via household kerbside recycling, such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
