You’ve been making a list, and checking it twice ….and as the clock ticks down towards the big day The Co-operative reveals the festive food bought by last minute dashers and top-up shoppers in the final moments of trading in its store’s on Christmas Eve*.

With a store in every postal area the convenience retailer provides a barometer of the nation’s buying habits as preparations for the main event are put to bed in the final hours before Christmas Day.

“We aim to be the number one convenience retailer this Christmas so even if you do forget your festive favourites – or your everyday essentials - customers should be confident help is at hand, indeed it is only a Co-op away!”

The Co-operative has over 2,500 stores, at least one in every postal area of the UK with the majority open until 10pm on Christmas Eve.
