• Co-op and EG On The Move, a leading forecourt operator, expand successful franchise partnership launching two new roadside service stations with Co-op convenience stores, located in Moston (Chester) and Buchandyke (East Kilbride).
• The two sites opening today grow the Franchise partnership between Co-op and EG On The Move to 10 locations, following a successful trial together last year (2024).
• Today’s launches follow Co-op and EG On The Move also collaborating on forecourts launched earlier this year, following the conclusion of last year’s (2024) trial, with new sites opening in Needham Road, Stowmarket (July, 2025) and, Coney Way, Wyberton (September, 2025).

EG On The Move and Co-op grow their successful forecourt and convenience food franchise collaboration with two new sites launching today, creating a fuel and quality food destination in Moston (Chester) and Buchandyke (East Kilbride).

The re-developed Moston Service Station – opposite Chester Zoo - combines EG On The Move’s petrol forecourt with Co-op leading convenience retail. Known as EG On the Move, Moston, the site is located on Liverpool Road, Moston (near Chester). The 24-hour site includes six pumps (regular and super unleaded and diesel); four electric vehicle charging plus, air and vacuum. A Subway outlet also operates on the Moston site, and a free ATM provides access to cash.

Launching on the same day is a roadside service station in Buchandyke (East Kilbride). Known as Buchandyke Petrol Filling station, the site is located on Maxwelton Road. Opening between 6am-10pm, it includes three pump islands (six pumps in total) along with air and water.

Co-op’s convenience stores – operated as a franchise - bring quality food and drink, deals, value and promotions to the forecourt- everything to refresh and ‘re-fuel’ motorists on the go or, provide food for later. Including self-service Costa (Moston) or Lavazza coffee (Buchandyke) ; bakery products; hot food; cold drinks, alongside a focus on quality fresh, chilled and healthy produce; meal deals; dairy; freshly prepared sandwiches; pizzas, ready meals; flowers; car care products and, everyday essentials.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, and all of its own fresh and frozen dairy, meat and poultry is 100% British – including in its pies, sandwiches and ready meals.

The two sites expand the franchise partnership between Co-op and EG On The Move following the conclusion of a successful trial together last year (2024). In July (2025) Co-op and EG On The Move also collaborated on a new to market site on the A1308 Needham Road, and in September (2025) on a new site on The Quadrant, Coney Way, Wyberton.
