Matlock Co-op re-opens its doors to the community (Friday, 1 May) following an eight-week investment programme to ‘transform’ the store.

Located in Firs Parade, Matlock, the store relaunches offering a fresh new shopping experience for the community, opening between 6am-10pm - seven days a week.

New refrigeration cuts energy consumption and supports Co-op’s carbon reduction goals, while enhancing the range and choice of fresh and chilled products.

An in-store bakery and Costa Coffee Express are available, alongside Co-op’s meal deals and food to go; Fairtrade products; ready meals and meal ideas – including its new Mexican-inspired ‘Served’ range - pizzas; fresh meats and dairy; chilled beers and wines, fresh flowers and, everyday essentials.

Convenient parcel collection services are available at the store via Amazon and DPD. The online home delivery of groceries is available via Uber Eats and Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk – with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.

Payment services are provided via PayPoint.

There are offers, deals and promotions – including Co-op Irresistible pizza and a tub of Häagen-Dazs ice cream for just £5 for Members - throughout the store.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with lower prices on the essential products shoppers buy most.

Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its own fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, sandwiches and ready meals.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store - making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials that are often not universally accepted via household kerbside recycling, such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
