Located in Whiteman’s Green, Cuckfield, the store supports 13 local jobs and opens between 7am-10pm daily.
The investment in the store has created a fresh new look, with structural work increasing the shopfloor to enhance the range and choice - including the addition of Costa Coffee Express and, new refrigeration which cuts energy consumption while increasing the range of fresh and chilled products. This sits alongside Co-op’s bakery; meal deals and food to go; Fairtrade products; ready meals; pizzas; fresh meats and dairy; chilled beers and wines, fresh flowers and, everyday essentials.
The online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat – with orders picked fresh in the village store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the local community.
Payment services are provided in store via PayPoint, and customer car parking is available.
There are offers, deals and promotions throughout the store, and member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with lower prices on the essential products shoppers buy most.
Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its own fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, sandwiches and ready meals.
Tom Harper, Co-op Area Manager, said: "We’re delighted to invest in Cuckfield, and proud to be part of local community life. We work to ensure the store is a hub locally, and we have a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone. This sits alongside added services including payment services; Costa Coffee, bakery and, the quick online home delivery of groceries. The store has been transformed with a great new look and enhanced range, and we’re here to serve and support the community, conveniently - the whole team is really looking forward to welcoming the community back into their Co-op.”
