Co-op Legal Services Awards 17 Training Contracts

Co-op’s Legal Services business has awarded 17 contracts as part of its trainee solicitor scheme this year.

The trainees, who will begin their training from the end of September, include a range of internal and external candidates and will join Co-op’s offices in Bristol, Manchester and Sheffield. They will rotate across four different legal practice areas including Probate Operations, Trusts, Employment Law and Family Law to complete their two-year programme. From 2019, there will be two intakes of trainees in March and September.

Co-op Legal Services is part of the Co-op Group and has almost 400 staff based in Manchester, Bristol, Sheffield and London. It prides itself on offering expert legal advice without the jargon to members of the Co-op Group and to the general public.

The business’ other legal service areas include Wills, personal injury and conveyancing.
