Co-op serves-up its newest store in the village of Gairloch.

The purpose-built new store has created 20 local jobs, and opens between 7am-10pm daily.

The launch of the new Gairloch store is the tenth Scottish store to open, or re-open following transformative investment, in recent weeks. These include Co-op stores in Brora; Fortrose; Callander; Irvine; Aberdeen (Kingswells); Evanton; Kingussie and Inverness re-opening following transformative investment, with a new store also opening in Selkirk.

Located on the popular North Coast 500 route, the Gairloch store includes customer car parking with electric vehicle charging and parking bays large enough for camper vans.

The store has a focus on fresh, healthy produce; meats and dairy; food-to-go and meal deals; bakery; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals; award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.

Costa Coffee Express and a parcel collection locker are coming soon.

Young Scot cardholders receive a discount off groceries in store.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store - making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials that are often not universally accepted via kerbside recycling, such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
