Co-op serves-up new-look Borough Green (Kent) store

Borough Green’s Co-op store relaunches with the convenience retailer serving-up a fresh new-look following a more than four-week programme of works and improvements.
The 2,800 sq ft convenience store – located in Station Approach, Borough Green – supports 20 local jobs, and includes customer car parking; a Costa coffee dispenser; in-store bakery; hot food and, cash machine to provide access to cash in the community. This sits alongside an increased range of fresh, healthy and chilled products and, a focus on meal ideas; everyday essentials and ingredients; food-to-go; Fairtrade products, chilled beers and award winning wines; ready meals, pizzas and, free-from; vegan and plant-based products.
Co-op’s Borough Green store now opens between 6am-11pm daily. The online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo for added ease and convenience, along with parcel collection services available through Amazon.

It has a great new-look, and we have had a fantastic reaction as we welcome Members and customers back into their Co-op. Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life. We have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer, locally and conveniently. With a focus on delivering member-value so that the people who own our business, our members, benefit every time they shop.”
In August, Co-op announced its biggest ever single investment in pricing of £70 million, as it extended its ‘member-only’ pricing across everyday essentials. The convenience retailer launched the price investment with a list of nearly 200 fixed lines including milk, eggs and bread, with a Co-op sliced loaf priced at just 76p.
