Co-op serves-up new look Stratford upon Avon store following major makeover

Co-op serves-up a new-look store in Stratford upon Avon following an extensive eight-week programme of works and improvements.
The store – which is located in Wordsworth Avenue, and supports 11 local jobs - has been ‘transformed’ during the investment programme, and includes Costa Coffee Express; bakery and, increased focus on fresh and healthy products. This sits alongside food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.
The latest refrigeration not only cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range. Other services include National Lottery, payment services via PayPoint and parcel collection at the store with DPD.
The online home delivery of groceries is offered through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat – along with Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk - orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently locally, often in as little as 60 minutes or less.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
