Co-op serves-up new store in Park Royal, London

Co-op today (Friday, 7 October) launches its newest food store to serve the community in Park Royal, London.

The convenience retailer’s new 2,500 sq ft store - located in Lakeside Drive, Park Royal (NW10) – opens between 7am-10pm daily and, creates 14 local jobs.

Co-op’s newest store includes a free ATM; Fairtrade coffee dispenser - known as Everground; hot food and bakery alongside a focus on fresh, healthy products; meal ideas; everyday essentials; food-to-go; chilled beers and award winning wines; ready meals and pizzas and, free-from; vegan and plant-based products – including Co-op’s exclusive vegan range, GRO.

Amazon lockers are available for parcel collection and, online groceries via Deliveroo is coming soon for added ease, speed and convenience – Co-op is the most widely available supermarket on the Deliveroo app with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered locally, quickly and conveniently.

A funding boost is provided locally through Co-op’s Membership programme. Membership of Co-op unlocks additional value through in-store offers, and sees Members rewarded with 2p in every pound they spend on Co-op branded products which is added to their own personal Membership account balance. In addition, Co-op also donates the same amount to local causes and community organisations.

A soft plastic recycle unit is also available to enable the community to recycle ‘soft plastics’ - including: crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals and yogurt pots, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches. Compostable carriers are also available for shoppers for forget their reusable bags.

Students who are TOTUM cardholders – the new name for NUS extra – also receive a 10% discount at the Co-op.
