Added services include a new self-service Wash.ME laundromat; Costa Coffee Express, photo booth and, parcel collection services through an InPost Locker.

The online home delivery of groceries is also available through Just Eat and Deliveroo - with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.

Paul Pearce, Co-op Store Manager, said: “The whole team is delighted to have had the opportunity to invest in Crowthorne - the store has been totally transformed with a fresh and spacious new look and feel – it looks fantastic. We are really looking forward to welcoming our members and customers back into their Co-op. It is always our aim to operate at the heart of local life and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to serve and support our community, conveniently.”

In addition to new flooring, ceilings and refrigeration, the transformation works also include enhancements to back-of-shop storage areas to enable the store to better serve and support the community.

A soft plastic recycle unit is also available in store to enable the community to return ‘soft plastics’ including: crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals and yogurt pots, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches - ensuring all Co-op’s own food packaging is recyclable through either local authority kerbside collections, or the in-store soft plastic recycling.
