16 January 2026
Eastern Green’s Co-op relaunches with a fresh new look following a more than three month programme of works and improvements.
The convenience store supports 14 local jobs, and opens between 7am-10pm daily.
Transforming the store with a new look and layout, the store benefits from an enhanced range of fresh and healthy products. This sits alongside Co-op's focus on fresh and healthy produce; meal deals and food to go; Fairtrade products and, chilled beers and wines.
Parcel collection services are available at the store via Amazon and InPost. Along with online home delivery through Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo – with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.
Throughout January, customers who spend more than £25 online via shop.coop.co.uk will get free delivery for their groceries - using code 'FD2026'.
There is also an ATM providing free access to cash in the community.
January has also seen Co-op unveil its new Served ‘Taste of Asia’ range with a main course and two sides for two for just £8* for Co-op members and, in a UK convenience retailer first, launch new own-brand GLP-1 friendly meals as part of its new “Good Fuel” health range offer.
There are offers and promotions throughout the store, and member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.
While structural works at the rear enable the store to better serve its community.
Phil Senior, Co-op Area Manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Easten Green – and delighted to welcome our community back into their local Co-op. The store looks fantastic, and we have a focus on being a hub locally for the community - delivering the quality, choice, value and added services which can be enjoyed by everyone. We're here to contribute to local life and conveniently serve and support the community.”
Soft plastic recycling is available in store - making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials that are often not universally accepted via kerbside recycling, such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
