There is a fresh new-look in-store as Co-op moves to purpose-built new store in Ashley Down, Bristol.

Ashley Down’s new near 7,000 sq ft Co-op supports 20 local jobs and is located on Gloucester Road.

The store serves-up parcel collection services through DPD, Costa Coffee Express, hot food, in-store bakery and, the online home delivery of groceries via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats - where groceries are picked fresh in the store and delivered quickly and conveniently locally.

Ashley Down's Co-op also has customer car parking, a free cash machine providing access to cash in the community, along with a focus on fresh, chilled produce; meal ideas and everyday essentials; food-to-go; Fairtrade products, flowers, chilled beers and award-winning wines; ready meals, pizzas and, free-from, vegan and plant-based products.

Co-op is committed to supporting UK farmers, growers and suppliers, with all of its fresh and frozen meat and poultry, including in its ready meals, pies and freshly prepared sandwiches, 100% British.

A soft plastic recycle unit is available in store to enable the community to recycle ‘soft plastics’ including: crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals and yogurt pots, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches - ensuring all Co-op’s own food packaging is recyclable either through local authority kerbside collections, or the in-store recycling unit.

Ashley Down’s Co-op opens between 7am-10:00pm between Monday-Saturday, and from 10am-4pm on a Sunday.
