A fresh new look has been unveiled as the Askew Road, Shepherds Bush, Co-op convenience store re-opens following a near four week programme of works and improvements to transform the store.

Located at 98 Askew Road (W12 9BL) the store is one of four Co-op stores operated by family-owned OUR Retail Ltd – a multi-site franchise partner who have worked with Co-op since 2022. It is the family’s ambition to further grow the number of Co-op stores it runs, adding to its Co-op franchise stores which are also located in Lavender Hill, Enfield; Deansbrook Road in Edgware and, Rose Lane, Dagenham.

A fresh new look and layout greets customers, including new , more energy efficient, refrigeration and, displays designed to enhance the shopping experience. An increased range of fresh and frozen produce is core to the store’s improved customer offer, alongside member-price savings which create additional value for Co-op’s member-owners, with lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

The 1,800 sq ft convenience store also includes a focus on food-to-go and meal deals, beers and wines, ready meals, pizzas and every day essentials. Self-service tills have also been added for added ease and speed, especially at busier times.

Askew Road Co-op will also act as a fulfilment hub for Co-op’s leading Quick Commerce operation, with the online home delivery of groceries through Deliveroo and Uber Eats. Orders are picked fresh in the local store, and delivered quickly and conveniently locally.
