Porthcawl Co-op welcomes members and customers back into the new-look store as it re-launches following an eight-week programme of works and improvement.

Located in Lias Road, Porthcawl, the store - which supports upto 30 local jobs - has been transformed with a fresh new look and enhanced shopping experience.

New refrigeration enhances the fresh, chilled and frozen range, and also supports Co-op’s work to further cut its carbon footprint. This sits alongside Costa Coffee Express, an in-store bakery and focus on food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade products, pizzas, flowers; ready meals, award winning beers and wines and, everyday essentials.

Parcel collection services are available via Amazon and, a new InPost Locker. Additional services in store also include a Photo Booth and, Rug Doctor.

Quick and convenient online home deliveries of groceries are available through Co-op’s online shop – shop.coop.co.uk – with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly in the community. In-store shop and deliver* is also available, when shopping in-store spend over £25 and Co-op will deliver your groceries to your doorstep for free – a service particularly popular for those with limited mobility, or parents of young children not wanting to struggle with bulky shopping bags.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members, with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most - both in store and online.
