Irvine Co-op relaunches with fresh new-look ‘transforming’ community store

An Irvine Co-op re-launches (Thursday, 30 October) with a fresh new-look following a seven-week programme of improvements.
The Caldon Road store – which supports 14 local jobs – has been ‘transformed’ with a new look and layout which includes an enhanced bakery, Costa Coffee Express and new refrigeration which not only further cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range.
Online home delivery of groceries are available through Just Eats, Uber Eats and Co-op’s own online shop - shop.coop.co.uk - with the orders picked fresh in the local store, and delivered quickly and conveniently in local communities. Parcel collections are available via Amazon and DPD.
Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.
And, Young Scot cardholders also receive a discount in store.

An extensive range of fresh and healthy products, food-to-go and meal deals is available, along with Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.
Payment services are available through PayPoint.
Soft plastic recycling is also available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
