Keen Gardener and Grandma receives Co-op Long Service Award

The Co-operative Funeralcare in Canterbury has achieved a Long Service Award for her dedication to The Co-operative Funeralcare over the last two decades.

Nuala, who is originally from Dublin, joined The Co-operative Funeralcare in 1995 as a Funeral Arranger. Since then, Nuala has held a number of positions including Co-ordinator, Team Leader and Manager with her most recent and current position being Community Relations Organiser, a key aspect of which involves building relationships with members of the community.

Nuala O’Donoghue, Community Relations Officer for The Co-operative Funeralcare commenting on her award said:

“I’m really pleased to have been a part of Funeralcare for the last 20 years. It goes without saying that I really enjoy my job, the best part of which is helping guide bereaved individuals through what can be the most difficult time of their life.”

Outside of her role with Funeralcare, Nuala has four grandchildren which keep her on her toes and entertained. When she is not with her grandchildren, Nuala enjoys being outdoors, gardening and walking.
