New Co-op Funeralcare Davenport opens doors to public

The Co-operative Funeralcare is opening its doors to the public and inviting them to attend the opening day of the new Co-operative Funeralcare which opened in Davenport in January.
The Open day will be held on 27 May from 10am until 3pm and will include a Dedication Service led by The Right Reverend Libby Lane, Bishop of Stockport. Additional special guests attending include the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport, Councillor Andrew Verdeille and Ms Cleo Cundall.
The Co-operative Funeralcare is the first Co-operative Funeralcare home in the area. It features a large reception room, arrangement room and a chapel and has been decorated in warm pastel shades, making it a welcoming and calming environment for bereaved families and friends of the Davenport community.
Supporting families will be Gary Burdett, Funeral Director and Hazel Hunt, Funeral Arranger.
Manager Mrs Wendy Livesley who has 20 years’ experience in the funeral industry said:
