A new Co-op store opens its doors to serve and support the South Gloucestershire village community of Frampton Cotterell.

The Clyde Road store – which creates 16 local jobs - is welcoming members and customers of the community into their new local Co-op where they can enjoy bakery goods, Costa Coffee Express; and an extensive range and choice of fresh and healthy products; food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.

The online home delivery of groceries is also coming soon via Uber Eats – orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently locally, often in as little as 60 minutes or less.

The store is operated as a Franchise by MRMU, an established partner of Co-op’s successful Franchise operation who opened their first Co-op store in 2021.

Bryony Monrowe, Store Manager, said: “We are delighted to launch our newest store in Frampton Cotterell. The store looks fantastic, and we’re proud to become part of local community life - we have a real focus on being a hub locally for the community, delivering the quality, choice, value and added services which can be enjoyed by everyone. We're here to contribute to local life and conveniently serve and support the Frampton Cotterell community.”

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, ready meals and sandwiches.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return harder to recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.

Customer car parking is also available.
