New funeral home for Tonbridge
12 January 2015
A new funeral home has opened in Tonbridge, to serve bereaved families.
The Co-operative Funeralcare, on the High Street, which opened this week, features a remembrance room, an arranging room, a reception area and parking at the rear. It has all been decorated in warm, pastel colours in a bid to make the funeral home more welcoming and less intimidating.
Supporting families will be funeral arrangers, Pauline Taffurelli, who has ten years experience with The Co-operative Funeralcare from its Tunbridge Wells funeral home, and Chloe Squires who is from Tonbridge.
Manager, Janet Thorndycraft, who has over 12 years experience with The Co-operative Funeralcare, said:
“Opening up a funeral home in Tonbridge is a new venture for The Co-operative Funeralcare. This investment will help us to provide a high quality service to local people, saving families in the community having to travel to our nearest Co-operative Funeralcare homes in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Sussex."
