Co-op relaunches its Tilehurst store following a two-month programme of works and improvements to transform the store.

Located in School Road, Tilehurst (Reading), the store supports 20 local jobs and re-launches today (Friday, 4 October) following a major makeover.

Tilehurst’s Co-op serves-up an in-store bakery and Costa Coffee Express alongside a focus on fresh, healthy and chilled produce; meal ideas and everyday essentials; food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade products; flowers; newspapers and magazines; chilled beers and award-winning wines; ready meals, pizzas and, free-from, vegan and plant-based products.

There is parcel collection services through an Amazon Locker and, DPD. A photo-booth has also been added.

The online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats – with orders picked fresh in the local store and then delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.

A cash machine provides access to cash in the community.

Works have also been carried out back-of-shop to enable the store to better serve the community.

The whole team is delighted to have had the opportunity to invest in Tilehurst – the store has been transformed with a fresh new look and layout, and we are really enjoying welcoming our members and customers back into their Co-op now that the works have concluded. It is always our aim to operate at the heart of local life and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve and support our community, conveniently.

The Tilehurst Co-op opens between 7am-10pm Monday-Saturday, and from 10am-4pm on a Sunday.
