Rhos* Co-op relaunches following an eight-week programme of improvements to ‘transform’ the Market Street store.

Co-op

The new-look Co-op store – which supports 15 local jobs - re-launches with an enhanced new look and layout, including the addition of Costa Coffee Express and enhanced fresh and healthy produce. An InPost Locker has also been added to provide convenient parcel services, along side Amazon and DPD.

New refrigeration not only cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh and chilled range. This sits alongside a focus on food-to-go and meal deals; bakery; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, party food for the festive period; award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.

Online home delivery of groceries is available through Deliveroo and Just Eat - orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.

Co-op is committed to backing High Streets, and Craig Emery, Co-op Area Manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Rhos. The new-look store looks fantastic, and has been designed to enhance the shopping experience - we have had a great response from the community. We’re proud to be part of local community life. We have a focus on being a hub locally for the community, delivering the quality, choice, value and added services which can be enjoyed by everyone - we're here to contribute to local life and conveniently serve and support the community.”

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials that many local authorities do not yet accept in kerbside recycling, such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.

The store is one of 50 new or transformed stores Co-op confirmed last month it would open before Christmas.
