Shoreham-by-Sea Co-op relaunches following major makeover to ‘transform’ High Street store

04 December 2025: Shoreham-by-Sea Co-op relaunches following a six-week programme of improvements to ‘transform’ the High Street store.
The new-look Co-op store – which supports 14 local jobs - re-launches with an enhanced range and choice designed to enhance the shopping experience, including the addition of Costa Coffee Express, hot food and enhanced fresh and healthy produce.
New refrigeration not only cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range. This sits alongside a focus on food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, party food for the festive period; award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.
Online home delivery of groceries is available through Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat - orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.
Parcel collection services are also available over the counter via Amazon.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.
Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.
Self-service tills have been added to provide increased ease and convenience, especially at busier times.
Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, ready meals and sandwiches.
The store is one of 50 new or transformed stores Co-op confirmed last month it would open before Christmas.
