The Co-operative uses its loaf with new value-for-money bread range

The Co-operative Food has introduced four large family-sized loaves (800g) at just 75p each, as part of a new initiative to offer even better value for money, without compromising on taste and quality.

The new Co-operative Loved by us bread range, which is now available in stores nationwide, includes five fresh own-brand bread lines at their lowest ever price, as part of The Co-operative’s mission to offer value for money locally on everyday items such as bread, milk, egg, bananas, bacon and chicken.
The new range includes two rustic farmhouse sliced loaves – white and wholemeal - baked in a high tin to produce a delicious crust. The family-sized loaves are priced at just 75p each and are perfect for a chicken sandwich during the week, or a bacon butty at the weekend.
The Co-operative is also introducing the Loved by us White Toastie (800g, 75p), its first own-brand loaf specially designed to make the ultimate toast with thick bread slices. And, the new own-brand Loved by us wholemeal farmhouse Seeded Loaf (470g) has full-sized slices in a smaller-sized pack, for just 65p, making it perfect for those with less mouths to feed.
The new bread range in Loved by us packaging will also feature a guide on how to make loaves last even longer with easy-to-follow home-freezing instructions to help consumers cut food waste.
A “taste guarantee” will also be found on pack, in which shoppers can get their money back in they are not 100% satisfied with the taste and quality.
