Theale’s Co-op relaunches following a major investment to ‘transform’ the High Street store.

Co-op is committed to backing British High Streets and the store re-opens after an extensive 10-week programme of improvements with a new look and enhanced range and choice designed to enhance the shopping experience.

The store includes Costa Coffee Express; bakery, hot food and increased focus on fresh and healthy products. This sits alongside food-to-go and meal deals; Fairtrade goods; pizzas; flowers; ready meals, award winning wines and beers and, everyday essentials.

The latest refrigeration not only cuts Co-op’s carbon footprint, but also enhances the store’s fresh, chilled and frozen range. Other services include National Lottery; payment services via PayPoint and, an ATM providing access to cash in the community.

Online delivery of groceries is available through Co-op’s own online shop – shop.coop.co.uk – along with Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat. Online orders are picked fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently in the community.

Parcel collection services are also available via DPD and Amazon.

Member price savings create additional value for Co-op members who can save more with personalised offers, deals and promotions and, lower prices on the products shoppers buy most.

Soft plastic recycling is available in store, making it easier for shoppers to return and recycle materials such as crisp packets and bread bags, lids from ready meals, biscuit wrappers and, pet food pouches.

Self-service tills have been added to provide increased ease and convenience, especially at busier times. Customer car parking is also available.

Co-op is committed to backing British agriculture, with all of its fresh and frozen meat 100% British – including in its pies, ready meals and sandwiches.
