Dear members, I have been a Store Manager and member for 30 years, campaigning for fairness for our members, colleagues and communities. The role of Council is vital in challenging our Board and Executive about policies and decisions including, bonus schemes that only reward management, rising corporate costs while colleague hours are reduced and ensuring all our Values and Principles are at the heart of everything we do supporting our stakeholders and communities. Dear Members, Colleagues and Co-operators.

As a Food Store employee working in shops around the country, I can engage with members, customers, colleagues and local communities feeding back their opinions and ideas to the Council, Group Board and Management Executive.

If elected to the Council I will ensure I act in the best interests of all our stakeholders challenging strategy, decisions and policies that do not support our Values and Principles.
Some of your issues raised include the sale of stores in many of our striving communities leaving them with little opportunity to shop in a Co-op. Colleagues have many concerns about the reduced hours and the impact on their income and ability to serve and engage with members and customers.

Concerns have been raised about the sale and investment in our assets and ensuring we have a viable business for our next generation of co-operators.

We have seen some great member incentives including the 5% plus 1% and it will be great to see the return of the Dividend but we also need to be famous once again for policies and ethics that lead the market.

I have completed Co-op Certificate and Diploma modules and have good knowledge of our governance and democratic policies and procedures.
