The Co-op is in a unique position to provide services that put ‘quality of life’ before price, and ‘values’ before profit. If elected to Council I would use my experience in management and in education to help steer the ‘direction of travel’ of the company so that it supports a society which values both community and environment. Retail will need to change and I believe the Co-op can be at the forefront of this.
