Philip Hartwell

I have been on the East of England Board since it was formed with three more years before our rules enforce a break. I am also a director of CUK and Harwich Connexions transport co-op. It was, however, 45 years ago that I first was on the Hinckley and Barwell Board: until I moved, started a family and became distracted! I try to look at Co-ops through the members eyes – what it means to them on a day to day basis; how does it affect them, their communities and their future, I see membership value and engagement as the core.
