I am a Civil Servant employed as a Manager with the Department for Education. Previously, I worked for 10 years as a literacy and numeracy tutor, supporting a diverse learner base including school leavers, apprentices, people in paid employment, the long term unemployed, homeless learners, people with mental health issues and physical disabilities, clients with alcohol and substance misuse issues and exoffenders. I share similar values to that held by the Co-op.

I share similar values to that held by the Co-op. I have accrued valuable experience in a wide variety of vocational roles during my working life which I feel can employed usefully if elected to the Council. I am a qualified teacher and hold a first class honours degree but I also have experience of unskilled roles in a wide variety of roles as well as more positions requiring higher level qualifications which I believe has helped further my natural ability to forge good working relationships and be non-judgemental of others.
