I previously sat on the North London Area Committee and enjoyed the difference I made. I value and champion the role the Co-op makes in changing and influencing the lives of people. I have a good English degree, working experience, competences and skills to fit within an organisation where I can become an effective and a valued resource to the business.
I have been a Chair of the local mental health charity and have sat on various other committees for mental health. I am a competent, experienced highly qualified business performance manager and analyst. I have worked in a large corporate organisation for a considerable time and have gained invaluable experience in managing, monitoring and evaluating projects; conducting needs assessments; researching and drafting project proposals and writing reports.

I have a track record of putting in place processes and systems for the smooth and efficient running of various departments in order to comply with ISO requirements which is an organisational quality management system standard. I also have experience of managing budgets and identifying significant cost savings.

I have experience of communicating effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders for the delivery of services and information to enable day to day management of projects and processes to be put in place. I am experienced in researching managing, monitoring, evaluating and writing project proposals.

I am reliable and adaptable. I have delivered programmes and projects on time and within budget. I have a proven track record in business analysis, process creation and implementation, budget build and management. I have excellent written and communication skills as demonstrated by the audited processes that I have created.

I am a trustee and Chair of Bowhaven which is a user run, user led social recovery charity for people with mental health issues. As a trustee, I assist the users and staff to utilise their own strengths and resources in a confident manner to create the kind of facilities in the centre that best meet their needs.

In my voluntary capacity as Chair of Bowhaven, I have been involved in developing relationships with partner organisation in the field. I have also been working with a Capacity building organisation to review the systems and process within Bowhaven to determine our strategic and future business objectives. I am also developing relationships with external organisations within the same field to put partnership agreements in place. In both my professional and voluntary activities I have organised and run various meetings and workshops.
