Profile picture of

I am a non-executive director of Central England Co-operative Society, an enthusiastic co-operator aligned with the Co-operative movement, its values and principles. I see co-operation as one of the most effective and creative ways of doing business and of living harmoniously and productively. I want to contribute to the development of our member-owned co-operative societies and to represent and speak up for their members.

I have a strong professional background spanning over 30 years in education, psychotherapy, training, public health and social work settings, alongside extensive voluntary experience with community-based organisations and projects. I have held a number of senior voluntary leadership roles at Director and Chairperson level. I bring a passion for social justice, a continuing commitment to community work, and a strong interest in equalities issues, social change and collective action.

My hobbies include gardening, walking and reading. I am a co-founder of a local community choir and enjoy theatre, film, cooking, cinema, music, keeping fit, various spectator sports and craft work.
