Possessing over 30 years’ experience in the advertising and fundraising sector, Veronica is devoted to developing diverse next generation leaders. She is a Director of the Aleto Foundation and craftswoman of the highly acclaimed Aleto leadership programme for African and Caribbean university undergraduates. She believes in the power of ‘WE’ - “It takes a village to raise a child” and “Together we can do so much”.

Veronica has more than 20 years’ experience in wining resources and support (fundraising, business development and advertising) within the corporate and charity sector.
She has advised and worked for numerous charities including Elizabeth Finn Care, the Brain and Spine Foundation, Camden Music Trust, Brathay Trust, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (now known as the Schools Network), Drake Music, Dimbleby Cancer Care, Clubs for Young People and many other non-profit organisations, social enterprises and individuals.
She is an expert in initiating, co-ordinating and managing major fundraising appeals and grant applications from conception to completion and has an expertise in non-profit governance i.e. financial controls and reporting, legal responsibilities, management and administration.
Her significant achievements include coordinating and managing the £¼ million Appeal for the Michael Watson Marathon Challenge and at the Motor Neurone Disease Association she was part of the team that was instrumental in raising £1m from an individual. She was also the founding Chair and Trustee of Generating Genius.
As well as serving as Director to the Aleto Foundation (previously named Powerlist Foundation) and advising Whizz Kidz on their major donor programme, she was appointed Trustee of Reedham Children’s Trust and is a Chair of the Trust' Fundraising and Communications Committee.
Veronica is a full certificated member of the Institute of Fundraising and was awarded a Masters with Merit in Charity Marketing and Fundraising in 2009. She has twin sons (Patrick and Stephen) aged 24 who work in the creative industry.
