In order to raise finance, Co-op has also issued debt securities, such as bonds, whereby large investors can effectively lend to the Group. These debt securities are listed on the stock exchange and, as a result, there are a number of regulatory requirements with which the Co-op is required to comply. These include announcing to the stock exchange the Group’s annual and interim results, and other significant news.
